Pegasus got back to winning ways after last weeks reversal with a superb performance, which lifted them to their highest League position of the season.

Pegasus started really strongly and moved the ball round at speed and it was no surprise when they took the lead after six minutes when after hitting the bar Richard Chwaszcza hammered home for his first senior goal of the Season. Shortly after, Liam Duffy was supplied by Ben Smith before rounding the keeper to make it 2 – 0. A quickly taken free kick by Aaron Bailey found Chwaszcza whose fine strike beat the keeper for a 3 – 0 lead.

John Coates was causing havoc on the left flank and he made it 4 – 0 after a fine run and shot into the far corner and on the half hour mark, Chwaszcza completed his hat trick after being set up by Smith.

The second half was fairly even with Pegasus content to play out the game and Heyford having far more possession, although Pegasus made it 6 – 0 after a fine run and cut back by Chris Power ended with a rasping drive from Paul Simpson and he almost made it seven with another great strike that hit the post.

Heyford did pull one back when Steve Hair scored after a long throw in, but Heyford never recovered from that first shell socked half hour.
