Pegasus won their first game since the opening day of the Season and kept their first clean sheet as they beat a Wfitefield Norpol side far more easily than the scoreline suggests.

Pegasus were virtually camped in their opponents half for most of the match with Norpol restricted to the odd breakaway. However, it looked like it would be one of those days as a combination of bad finishing, bad luck and good defending kept Pegasus at bay.

After going close on several occasions, Pegasus finally got their deserved opeming goal when Dragoslav Krunic, playing on despite an injury, wriggled clear inside the box and fired home a fine right foot shot.  The away side started to push forward in search of an equaliser after this but never really threatened the home goal and Pegasus made the points safe when, after a sweeping move, John Coates was pulled down in the box and Ben Smith made no mistake from the spot.
