Harborough made it 4 1, before scoring from a third penalty and finally making it 6 1 in the last minute. The Pegasus losing streak continues and after only a handful of games they already find themselves in a relegation dogfight.
Pegasus changed their tried and trusted formation to try to get back to winning ways, but found themselves a goal down after only six minutes to a lively Harborough side. The home side could have gone two up shortly after but Craig McShannon saved a penalty. They didn’t have long to wait, however, to make it 2 and right on half time went 3 0 up as a second penalty was dispatched. The Pegasus cause wasn’t helped as both Paul Simpson and Gary Legg had to go off with injuries before half time, although Simpson’s replacement, Richard Chwaszcza, almost cut the deficit but his effort went inches past the post.
In the second half, Pegasus had far more of the ball, and pulled one back five minutes into the half as Ben Smith put Iain Doherty’s through pass away in style. As much as Pegasus tried, however, they couldn’t pull another back and Harborough broke away to make it 4 1 before scoring from a third penalty and making it 6 1 in the final minute.
